The short version: we collect only what you hand us, use it for the thing you handed it over for, and never sell it. The long version is below.

Who we are

Smartass Prompts (smartassprompts.com) is a searchable library of AI prompts for small business owners, operated by MFGSEO LLC, Cedar Park, Texas. “We,” “us,” and “our” mean MFGSEO LLC.

Information we collect

• Newsletter signups: your email address, so we can send you the newsletter.
• Prompt submissions: the information you enter in the submission form (such as your name, email, and the prompt you submit) so we can review and possibly publish it.
• Sponsor inquiries: the contact and business details you enter in the sponsor form so we can respond about sponsorship.
• Basic technical data: like every website, our hosting and security providers automatically process standard request data (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

You can browse and search prompts without giving us any personal information.

How we use it

To send the newsletter you asked for; to review, respond to, and (if accepted) publish submissions; to respond to sponsorship inquiries; and to operate, secure, and improve the site. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Service providers

Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase) stores form data; Lovable hosts the site behind Cloudflare, which provides delivery and security; Resend delivers our newsletter emails. If sponsorships are paid online in the future, payments will be processed by Stripe; we will never see or store your full card details. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights or others’ safety.

Cookies & analytics

Smartass Prompts does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics. Our hosting and security providers may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site running and secure.

Newsletter

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed.

Data retention

We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe, and submissions and sponsor inquiries only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose they were sent, after which they are deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data. Email alex@mfgseo.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. Texas residents: we do not sell personal data as defined under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act.

Security

We use HTTPS and access controls on our database. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

The site is meant for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we update this policy, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above.
