Prompt Acceptance Checklist

Build an acceptance checklist for an AI task: Task prompt: {task_prompt} Intended use: {intended_use} Required sources: {sources} Must-have requirements: {requirements} Prohibited content: {prohibitions} Output format: {format} Human approval requirements: {approval_rules} Extract requirements without rewriting the task or producing its deliverable. Separate explicit requirements from ambiguities. Flag conflicting rules and request a decision, not a silent choice. Do not invent facts or treat unstated preferences as requirements. Return a table with requirement ID, requirement, input source, observable compliance check, importance and blank review status. Cover completion, source support, required sections, format, exclusions, privacy and approval rules. Replace vague standards with inspectable criteria only when supported by inputs. Give a release rule separating blocking failures from improvements, unresolved questions and a human review sequence. Separate factual correctness from formatting. Label checks needing outside verification or professional judgment. Confirm all supplied requirements are represented without claiming any deliverable has passed or been tested.

Tip: fill in the {brackets}

Swap every highlighted bit for your real details before you paste. The more specific you are, the less generic the answer.

What it does

Defines how a person will judge an AI deliverable without generating it or claiming to validate it.

When to use it

Before delegating an important or repeatable task when acceptance standards need to be clear.

FAQ

Does the checklist prove an answer is correct?

No. It organizes criteria and identifies checks needing source verification or human judgment.

What happens if requirements conflict?

The conflict is flagged for a decision rather than hidden in the checklist.

Rough Ask to Clear Prompt

I want AI to help with this, but I'm not sure how to ask: {rough idea} (e.g., "help me get more people to my brewery on weeknights" for Slot-T Beer Co., a brewpub in Liberty Hill, TX). Rewrite my request as a clear prompt that says who it's for, what I want, the format, the length and the tone. Ask me up to 3 questions first if anything important is missing.

Fix a Bad Answer

Your last answer wasn't right because {what's wrong: too long, too generic, wrong tone, missed the point} (e.g., too generic (e.g., a Facebook post for Round Rock Donuts that never mentioned Round Rock or the 1926 history)). Keep what worked, fix what didn't, and give me a new version. Then tell me in one line what I could add to my prompt next time to get it right the first time.

My Business Context Card

Help me write a short 'about my business' note (e.g., for Comanche Trail Veterinary Center, a veterinarian in Liberty Hill, TX) I can paste at the start of any AI chat. Ask me about: what I sell, who my customers are, where I operate, my prices, my tone of voice, and words I never want used. Then give me the finished note in under 150 words.
